Our Story

Becky started because every woman we knew was Googling questions about her butt at 2 a.m. — and finding listicles, shame spirals, and zero actual help. So we did something about it.

Becky started because every woman we knew was Googling questions about her butt at 2 a.m. — and finding listicles, shame spirals, and zero actual help.

The skin no one talks about

Skincare has spent the last decade getting really good at the face. There are 14 acne products on Sephora's bestseller list, three dermatologists with seven-figure book deals, and an entire vocabulary around "glass skin."

And yet — the skin between your hip and your knee? The skin that gets sat on, sweated through, friction'd by jeans, broken out from spin class? Nobody talked about it. Nobody made products for it. Nobody told you it was normal.

So we did.

One product, on purpose

Becky is one product. The Booty Scrub. A walnut shell + rosehip exfoliant for buttne, KP, ingrowns, and dark spots.

We spent a year working with a cosmetic chemist in Portland to get the particle size of the walnut shell exactly right — finely milled enough to not microtear, coarse enough to actually exfoliate the thicker skin on your butt and thighs. We added rosehip for vitamin A precursors (real evidence for fading post-inflammatory dark spots), jojoba for moisture, aloe for inflammation, and pro-vitamin B5 for barrier repair.

We tested it on willing humans. (Friends. Friends' moms. Friends' moms' book clubs.) When the friends and moms and book clubs started reordering on their own, we knew.

What we believe

Body skincare deserves the same rigor as face skincare. The skin on your butt is thicker than your face but has its own biology — different sebum production, different friction exposure, different conditions. It deserves products formulated for it, not facial leftovers.

Embarrassment shouldn't be a moat. The reason butt-care is an underserved category is that it's awkward to talk about. Which is exactly why the people who need it most can't find help. We write openly about every condition — including the ones nobody else will name.

Affordable is non-negotiable. $20 is what Becky costs. Not $50. Not $80. Body care shouldn't require a salary increase.

Real ingredients beat fragrance theater. No synthetic microbeads. No mystery "complexes." No fragrance pretending to be science. The ingredients list is short, every ingredient does something specific, and you can pronounce most of them.

1% to Every Mother Counts

1% of every order goes to Every Mother Counts — Christy Turlington Burns' nonprofit working to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women around the world. We're a small brand, and 1% isn't enormous, but it adds up — and it's the floor, not the ceiling. The more you buy, the more we give.

Where we're going

The product roadmap: more body-care, every product formulated for a real condition (butt acne wash, KP body lotion, postpartum stretch-mark serum), all under $30, all with the same Becky honesty.

The content roadmap: The Booty Atlas — a free, public, ever-growing condition library. The encyclopedia of butt skin. We've published 25 articles so far. Goal is 100 by end of next year, including dermatologist-reviewed protocols and real customer before-afters.

The bigger picture: own the category for the skin no one talks about. Be the brand that finally made it talk-aboutable.
